How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from our warehouse in 1-3 business days. Once an order ships, carriers will usually deliver the order in 2-7 business days.

Please notice that during high volume promotions and holidays it may take longer for you to receive your order.

Sober Carpenter cannot guarantee shipping times and cannot cancel a shipment once it’s in transit. If a product is in transit and is taking longer than expected, we will not issue a refund in the event the product arrives later than expected

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping if free with any orders of 2 cases or more. Otherwise, we charge a flat fee of $10.00 for shipping

How do I track my order?

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with your shipping confirmation including your tracking number and a link where you can track your order.

I only received part of my order. What do I do ?

Please note that in order to avoid overpacking, all our cases are sent separately, and it happens sometimes that some cases arrive before others. It rarely takes more than a few days to receive the rest, but if you still haven’t received anything after a 7 days, please email us at hey@sobercarpneter.com

My order/item was damaged in transit. What do I do ?

If your order/item is damaged during shipping, please take a photo of the damaged good(s), provide your email address used to place the order and order number and send this information to hey@sobercarpenter.com.

My order was returned to sender. What do I do ?

If your order was returned to the sender for any reason, please email our customer service team at hey@sobercarpenter.com.

What should I do if I entered the wrong shipping address?

If you accidentally entered the wrong shipping address, please notify our team immediately via email at hey@sobercarpenter.com

Please note, once an order is placed there's a very small amount of time in which we are able to make any order changes.

I'm unable to place an order.

You can only place an order on our website if your delivery address is located in Canada. Please send an email at hey@sobercarpenter.com, our customer service team will be able to assist you.

If you live in the US, you can order our products directly from our US website : sobercarpenter.us

You can also purchase our beers in many stores : Total Wine, BevMo, Lassens, Wholefoods, Hannaford, Natural Grocers, Market of choice, Organic Food and many more

Can I change my order?

Due to the high volume of orders and limited quantities available, we are unable to make changes to any orders once the order is placed.

I forgot to add my coupon code before placing my order.

Unfortunatly, once your order is placed, it is not possible for us to modify it. You might be able to use your coupon for your next order. Please note that our promo code can only be used once and cannot be combined with any other offer.

My coupon code is not working.

Please note that you can only use promo codes once on regular priced items and it can't be used on subscriptions. It can't be combined with any other offers. Certain coupon also have an expiry date and can't be claimed once expired.

Products

What is the alcohol content of your beers?

A can contains less than 0.5% of alcohol.

Yes it’s not zero but it’s really not a lot either. In fact it’s as much as kombucha, vinegar or orange juice.

What are the main ingredients?

Water, malts, hops and yeast. Please check product page for the specific ingredient list of each product.

What is the shelf life of your products?

Our beers can be preserved for 18 months (540 days). Underneath the can you have the lot number which indicates when they were made. The first two numbers are the year and the last 3 numbers are the day of the year out of 365. 

Here’s an example : Lot 21238

Year : 2021

Day : 238/365 = 26th of august (you can check online which day it is)

The beer was made on the 26th of august of 2021 

Simply add 540 days and you will get the best before date. In this case, it is best before February of 2023.

Are your products gluten-free?

Our beers are not gluten-free.

Our cider is gluten-free.

Are your products vegan?

Our DDH Hazy IPA is not vegan, since it contains lactose.

Our other beers and our cider are 100% Vegan.

Are your products safe for pregnancy and breastfedding?

Although all our products are non-alcoholic, we recommend consulting with your health care practitioner prior to making any dietary additions and/or changes.

Where is Sober Carpenter brewed?

We are located in Montreal, Quebec and our products are brewed in Ontario.

Can I pick up from your brewery?

Unfortunately, we do not sell our beers directly from the brewery.

Can I buy your products in stores ?

Yes, please enter your address in our store locator and you will find the closest retailers around.

If however you live in the US, you can order our products directly from our US Shop.
